The members of our guild are so generous!  I love that! In January we learned about Project Linus and are excited to support that fantastic organization this coming year!

Last year we decided to make quilts for the UMC Cancer Center.  The quilts are kept at the facility and used by patients coming in for chemotherapy treatments. I wanted to show off a bit and share the pictures of the fabulous quilts!  (Please note that the quilts we donated are shown lined up on the table.  Pictures courteous of Jennifer – one of our original members!)

It was a great way to learn and practice the blocks Kristi presented each month.  And of course it was for a worthy cause.  We hope that they\’ll bring a small amount of comfort to the patients while they receive treatment.

I\’m excited to see everything that is donated in 2013 to Project Linus.  It\’s going to be another great year!  Come find out more at our meeting in February. 🙂
